David Fly, MA, Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology, Fuller Graduate School of Clinical Psychology. David has worked with veterans, children, adults, immigrants, refugee, and substance abuse populations, and was first trained in neurofeedback in 2001. David’s background in neuropsychology and years training interns in neurofeedback at Fly Therapy have led to a passion for teaching others the use of neurofeedback equipment within the context of a therapeutic relationship.
Learn moreKristen L. Fly, M.S has practiced individual and family therapy as a licensed marriage and family therapist for six years. She was initially trained in neurofeedback in 2010, and has attended several advanced neurofeedback training courses, including two in quantitative EEG-guided assessment and treatment. In her private practice, she has treated children and adults, specializing in the treatment of trauma.
Learn morePaula Tisdale, LPC is retired from the Navy and has worked with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs for several years. She is certified in EMDR therapy and works specifically with veterans who have experienced trauma while active duty. Paula began training in neurofeedback under the supervision of Dr. F. Lanier Fly. She has since attended training from The EEG Institute, as well as BrainMaster.
Learn moreJennifer Dattilo Watts has a Master’s of Science in marriage and family therapy as well as a Master’s of Science in psychology from Capella University. She is a pre-licensed professional under the Supervision of Dr. F. Lanier Fly and has worked with individuals, couples, and families. Jennifer is a veteran of the United States Air Force and hopes to incorporate trauma care for veterans into the Healing Well’s local services. She received introductory training in neurofeedback from The EEG Institute in November 2012.

She is currently pursuing BCIA certification and is a pre-licensed professional under the Supervision of Dr. F. Lanier Fly. Sarah is a lifetime member of Psi Chi and works with mainly children and teenagers. Her focus is mainly trauma, anxiety, and family dynamics. Sarah is a military spouse and brings this experience into her clinical services.

The Healing Well provides neurofeedback and therapy services to veterans and survivors of trauma locally and globally, and equips others to do the same, enabling survivors to move forward on their life’s journey. We have worked in the Congo and Rwanda, and are expanding our efforts locally in the Hampton Roads, VA region.
Pilot trip to DRC
Lanny Fly makes an initial four-day trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to explore local interest in neurofeedback as well as the feasibility of providing neurofeedback in an area with unreliable power.
